Everyone is aware of the push to go green as more news and print agencies publicize the importance of going green to save our planet. Every aspect of our society in one form or another are making serious efforts to cut back on the consumption of resources and find alternatives that will not hurt our planet.
Everything is going green from cars to lightbulbs, businesses and governments. Food and yes even fashion, the fasion industry is making a big push to put the go green into the actual clothes you wear for everyday life. This is no fashion fad either as major players like Target and Walmart are both major players in the eco-fashion friendly market. Yet despite major companies like Walmart and Target making huge strides in selling and marketing eco friendly fashion. The fashion industry as a whole has a long road ahead of itself.
On the good side more and more companies are bringing on more organic alternatives when it comes to the choices we have for clothing. Unfortunately just like most industries that are going green there is a little more of a financial price tag when it comes to the products that are being sold.
The problem for most companies looking to provide organic eco friendly fashion is the production of the materials needed is such a new technology that is in high demand. The cost of which is considerably highger than the old way of doing things. This is the case of course for almost every industry that is making the push to go green. We are after all only in the early stages of companies and society as a whole attempting to reverse the trends and mass produce products in an envirornmentally friendly way.
So keep an eye out for those eco-friendly clothes at the local Target or Walmart and help to support the movement to go green in every aspect of your lives. There are some good deals to be had for going green and the more we show that the demand is there eventually the prices will drop.
